No second term for Jonathan-Prof Soyinka

Election is near and various dignitaries in Nigeria have started giving comments about the presidential candidate of each parties involved in the presidential race. Not long ago, Governor Akpabio promised President Goodluck Jonathan about 1.6 million Akwa Ibom votes. The recent comment about President Goodluck has been that of Professor Wole Soyinka.

The Noble prize winner during a program themed 'Vision of the Child' which held in Lagos on Thursday said he would not vote nor encourage anybody to vote President Goodluck Jonathan for second term. He described the President Goodluck as one who has failed citizens, children especially.
According to him, he has more than 60 reasons to convince people not to re-elect Jonathan for the second term. He however  dwelt mainly on the incompetence of the federal government over the issue of the kidnapped chibok girls. He had earlier on in december, described the President Jonathan's administration to be worse than that of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. He spoke about the slow response of the administration to the news of the chibok girls kidnap and how they moved on as if nothing happened.
He however maintained that he is in no support of President Goodluck Jonathan going for second term.
My advice to everyone one is to use their votes well and wisely to avoid a corrupted government. Say no to election violence.
