Diego Costa receives three match ban

Last week Tuesday will be a remarkable one for the fans of Chelsea football club as their team made it past Liverpool football club to the finals of the capital one cup. The blues came out victorious after a 2-1 aggregate at the end of the second leg following a draw from the first leg

As refreshing as Tuesday was, it was not that good for Chelsea's striker Diego Costa who narrowly escaped been sent off the pitch for misconduct during the match. This was because he stepped on the ankle of Liverpool's midfielder Emre Can. However on Friday after reviewing the video, the Independent regulatory commission stated that the act was deliberate and thus gave Costa a three match ban.
Commenting on this, Costa maintained the fact that the act was not delibrate. He admit that the ban was a sad thing as he won't be able to play for the club during the ban period. He however added that the ban will not affect his style of playing. He continued that that's the way to support the club and fans, moreover, that's his means of livelihood.
He also said that he loves to compete and will do whatever it takes to support the club and make the fans happy.
