Sometimes, in a bid to have privacy on our android phones, most of us go to the extreme end of using complicated passwords or screen patterns for our phones. This security measures are so complicated that at times, we forget them.

What do we do?
Often, we flash our phones and all our data are gone.
Well, I have found out some ways you can unlock your phones without flashing them.

1. Using Gmail Account Details:
After entering the fifth incorrect patterns, you will see a dialogue box asking you to enter your gmail account login details after pressing forgot pattern. Enter your gmail login details and once it has been confirmed, you will be asked to draw a new pattern for your lock screen.
2. Screen Lock Bypass Apps:
It is recommended that you install this app on your android phone now if you are using the pattern screen lock on the phone. This is because, if you forget your gmail login details, then the screen lock bypass apps will be your next option. But if your Android phone is already locked out while reading this post, then jump to the next option.
Screen lock bypass apps is free, it gives you access to all your data without the need to format your android phone. Just download the apps to your computer and install it to your device and reboot the phone. A screen will show up asking you to activate the app. Once it is activated, it will run every time you reboot your device. You can download Screen lock bypass at Google Play.
But make sure to deactivate it if you are worried that it will someday fall into the hands of a wrong person.
3. Using Command Prompt:
For you to use this method, you will need to have Android Debug Bridge (ADB) installed on your computer. This is part of the android SDK which you can download here.
You will also have to enable USB debugging on your phone. You can find it under Settings => Applications => Development. You can try these two pieces of code provided by XDA Developers user m.sabra at forum.xda-developers.com/
First connect your phone to your computer via USB. Open command prompt and input the following code found in the image below:

Now reboot your phone. If the above code didn't work for you, try this code:
At the end, you will still see the pattern lock when you reboot your phone but it will accept any pattern you try.
